Our tune purchase includes complimentary updates, covering tune revisions, new octane ratings, standard feature enhancements, and software improvements. Should your vehicle’s manufacturer release an ECU update, Integrated Engineering will incorporate this into your tune at no additional cost, ensuring continuous compatibility and performance optimization.
The POWERlink Flash Tool offers exceptional versatility, allowing you to use it on up to 5 different vehicle identification numbers (VINs). This is ideal for households with multiple vehicles or for sharing with friends who are also looking to enhance their car’s performance with an iE Tune. Please note that tunes are sold separately for each VIN.
Once a tune is applied and registered to your vehicle’s ECU, it becomes permanently linked to that specific vehicle. This registration ensures the integrity and security of your tune. While non-transferable to other vehicles under normal circumstances, tunes can be transferred to a new owner if the vehicle is sold, maintaining the value of your performance upgrade.
Please be aware that utilizing the latest Audi MG1 ECUs requires the V4 IE POWERLINK. These advanced ECUs employ updated flashing protocols for reading and writing ECU and TCU information. Older V3 POWERlink devices are not compatible with the B9 3.0T calibrations. If you are purchasing this tune with a pre-existing POWERLINK, verify that the serial number on the device’s back panel begins with V4 to ensure compatibility.
