Installation is straightforward: simply place the ShurTrax in your truck bed, secure it using four tarp straps, and fill it with up to 40 gallons (151 L) of water. This adds approximately 320 lbs. (147 kg) of weight precisely where it’s most effective – directly over the rear wheels. Experience reduced axle hop and wheel slip, leading to smoother acceleration, enhanced ride comfort, and markedly improved handling in diverse driving scenarios. Each ShurTrax system includes the Traction Weight bladder and a Super Union Water Connection Fitting for easy filling and draining.

Beyond just adding weight, ShurTrax is designed for practicality. You can haul up to 500 lbs. (227 kg) of cargo directly on top of the ShurTrax. (To protect the vinyl, exercise caution to avoid punctures, or use a sheet of plywood as a protective layer before loading.)
