The disc-shaped electric motor is integrated into a newly developed six-speed e-S tronic transmission, which efficiently channels power to the front wheels. The electric motor provides instant peak torque from a standstill up to approximately 2000 rpm, while the TFSI engine’s maximum torque is readily available between 1,750 and 4,000 rpm.
