Enchanting Nursery Wallpaper Ideas to Create a Dreamy Space

After what felt like forever, and navigating the joys of pregnancy, our little one’s nursery is finally complete! Creating this room was truly a labor of love, filled with late nights and dedicated naptime projects. But seeing it all come together was absolutely worth every moment.

The box trim adds such a classic and elegant touch to the room. We chose Benjamin Moore Salisbury Green at 75% for the color, a soft and soothing hue that complements the overall nursery design beautifully.

“You are my Sunshine” is our go-to calming song for T, so making these prints felt incredibly personal. Designed in Pages and printed at Office Depot as 18×24 size posters, they bring a heartwarming, DIY element. The frames are from Michaels, simple and elegant to not distract from the prints themselves.

The adorable white metal crib from Wayfair was a perfect find. Wayfair truly has an amazing selection of cribs, but this one stood out with its delicate design that fits seamlessly into the nursery’s aesthetic.

Finding the right nursery wallpaper was a journey! After extensive searching, I initially spotted this beautiful botanical print on Anthropologie’s website. However, they were low on stock. Luckily, I discovered the exact same wallpaper at Home Depot for a better price! This wallpaper truly sets the tone for the entire room, bringing in a touch of nature and whimsy. Choosing the right wallpaper is crucial when designing a nursery, as it acts as a backdrop and can significantly influence the room’s overall feel.

We repurposed an Ikea dresser that had been used in our older child’s nursery and gave it a fresh, feminine update with these gold knobs. I’m completely in love with how these simple knobs elevated the entire dresser! They are the perfect detail to add a touch of sophistication to the furniture.

Speaking of feminine touches, these closet handles were a bit controversial on Instagram initially, but I think they are just perfect. To me, they resemble cute little earrings, adding a playful yet elegant detail to the closet doors.

The blush velvet curtains bring in wonderful texture and a soft, luxurious feel. For the blinds, we opted for Select Blinds in their Ivory Matte Velour flat fold roman shade. To ensure maximum darkness for naptime and bedtime, I layered these blackout curtains behind the pink velvet ones.

Using these brackets, I added a sweet and simple display shelf. It’s perfect for showcasing little decorative items and books, adding personality to the walls without overwhelming the space.

It’s hard to believe this charming bookshelf started as an old, slightly damaged piece I found for just $15 on Facebook Marketplace! You can see the full transformation process in my Instagram Reels – it was a fun and rewarding DIY project.

This unique light fixture was also a DIY project! I started with this simple light and transformed it using spray paint and fusible interfacing. A blog post detailing the process is coming soon, so stay tuned!

And here’s the little miss who, at this age, is blissfully unaware of all the effort that went into her beautiful room! Haha.

I truly hope you enjoyed this little tour of Theia’s garden-themed nursery as much as I enjoyed creating it! If you want to keep up with my latest projects and DIY adventures, make sure you’re following me on Instagram!
