After a short period of wet sanding, moderate scratches showed significant progress, although the sanded area appeared hazy and matte due to the removal of the shiny clear coat. Buffing with the included compound and polish drill attachments restored the shine. The 3M system effectively eliminated light scratches and made moderate scratches nearly invisible. Even deeper scratches showed improvement, becoming less conspicuous.
The 3M Trizact kit did have minor drawbacks. While the drill pads are reusable, the rubbing compound and polish come in single-use packets, which may not be sufficient for multiple applications or larger repairs. Additionally, the provided sandpaper squares are quite small, making them somewhat challenging to handle and potentially prone to wearing out quickly. Rating: 7/10
