This 1992 Bmw M5, boasting a 3.8L engine and 340 horsepower, arrived in our detailing studio in a sorry state. The previous owner had clearly mistreated this iconic vehicle, leaving it abandoned for six long months before finally deciding to sell. Our mission was clear: to bring this automotive legend back to its former glory through a comprehensive detailing process.

Moving to the hood, we captured a before and after perspective. The “before” shot revealed the dull, swirled state of the hood paint.

For the bumpers, we refined our polishing process, switching to Menzerna PO 3.02 followed by Menzerna 85RD for an even finer finish, achieving exceptional results.

Some areas required more intensive correction. Sanding with 2000 and 4000 grit sandpaper, followed by polishing, was employed to address deeper imperfections and achieve a flawless finish.

This meticulous paint correction stage alone took four days to complete, demonstrating the dedication required for a full restoration detail. Meanwhile, interior components were also being addressed.
Some interior pieces required repair and repainting to bring them back to their original condition.
The center console was removed for thorough cleaning and restoration.
After repair and repainting, the console pieces looked revitalized.
All the restored interior parts, laid out together, showcased the comprehensive nature of the interior detailing process.
Even small details like the rear seatbelt components were restored, demonstrating our commitment to complete refurbishment.
Interior plastics were thoroughly cleaned, polished, and conditioned to restore their original luster and protect them from future wear.

After cleaning, PB Natural Look dressing was applied to interior surfaces, enhancing the finish and providing UV protection.
With all interior components restored, it was time to meticulously reassemble the interior.
The engine bay, with 110,000 miles on the clock, was carefully cleaned, respecting its age and mechanical components.
The final touch for the interior was a complete reassembly, leaving it looking fresh and revitalized.
Exterior Destiny detailing products were used extensively throughout the process, highlighting their effectiveness.
The rims were sealed with Sonax Wheel Sealant, providing long-lasting protection and enhancing their appearance.
The trunk area, now fully detailed, completed the transformation.
With a little shine enhancer, the paintwork achieved an even more impressive level of gloss and depth.
A couple of days later, the new BMW M5 lettering arrived, ready to complete the rear end aesthetics.
